Relevance of On-Board Advertising

The cost of media space in environments such as airports is exorbitant with significant media clutter – the questions which need to be posed are:

“Do passengers absorb any communication in their rush to finish last minute cell calls as they proceed to the check-in counters / gates for departure and on arrival whilst attempting to leave the airport?”

“In their rush to check-in and disembark (normally stressed), are they in any mood to absorb communication directed at them?”
